I am 95% certain that we have found Rosealyn’s school for this fall. We went today to Little One’s Montessori and toured the school and met the Director and teachers. Mike and I love the way they teach the kids at their own pace, and everything is very hands on and practical life oriented, so the kids can use it and understand it outside of school. The people are all very friendly and the kids enjoyed playing with one of the teachers while we did the tour and grown up stuff. We’re gonna sit on it for a few days before making a definite decision, but like I said, we’re about 95% on this one. It is so exciting and sad at the same time that she is old enough for school. She is thrilled.
We are having cupcakes aqnd presents tonight with Malachi for his birthday because the rest of our weekend is so busy. He will officially be 3 on Monday!! It’s so funny to me how Rosie is obsessed with turning 4 and Malachi could care les about his birthday. He love the card he got in the mail from Nonni and he love the train set we got with his gift card, but he’s pretty blah about the birthday part. Rosealyn wanted to get him balloons and party hats and such for tonight and he kept telling her “No, thank you.” She was pretty annoyed with him about it. Rosie is really looking forward to turning 4 and having a big party. We need to get a date set for that and start planning.
